Der Begr\u00fcnder Jigoro Kano (1860- 1938) entwickelte die Techniken der alten Samurai weiter und formte dadurch das moderne Judo. Nicht nur Kraft und Technik ist gefragt, sondern auch K\u00f6pfchen. Aufgrund verschiedener Probleme wurde der Verein nach kurzer Zeit wieder aufgel\u00f6st. Im Jahre 1981 wurde der Verein durch Dr. Claudius Handl und Valentina Handl wieder aktiviert und 1986 als Sektion in den TUS Feldbach aufgenommen. Ein ehemaliger erfolgreicher Judoka, Baldur Loder, konnte damals als Trainer engagiert werden. Er verstarb im Jahr 2008. Im Interesse \u201evon unserem Baldur\u201c f\u00fchrten das damals sehr junge Trainerteam Carina Dirnbauer, Kerstin Huber und Dschambul Baschanov die Sektion weiter und wurden von Jahr zu Jahr erfolgreicher. Unterst\u00fctzt wurden sie von Dr. Franz Hafner der selbst eine Erwachsenen Trainingsgruppe leitet.
